  • Take the Blue Route to the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike (formerly Route 9 now Route 476 North).
  • Stay on Route 476 until the very end after you pass through Scranton.
  • Take Route 81 North toward Binghamton (Note: 476 will intersect with Route 81 before 476 ends. Do not get off 476 until it ends).
  • Continue on Route 81 and you will cross the New York State line. At that point there is a Rest Stop/Visitor Center on your right as soon as you enter New York. There is a rest stop earlier in PA, but it is not as nice as the one in New York. At the rest stop in New York, if you drive pass the information center there are picnic tables overlooking the Endless Mountains. As far as food, they only have vending machines. It is a great place to pick up maps and information. Driving time is approximately 2 hours from the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension.
  • Continue on Route 81 and just before you get to Binghamton, you will see a sign for Route 17 East New York.
  • Take Route 17 East to Exit 84 Deposit (This is the second exit for Deposit. Do not take the first Exit).
  • Follow the ramp to the left and the signs for Route 10 Walton.
  • You will go approximately 1.7 miles and then make a right still following the signs for Route 10 Walton.
  • You will be on this road to Walton for approximately 24.5 miles and will pass the New York Reservoir.
  • When you enter Walton you will bear to the right and go through the town. This is the last town you will go through that has gas stations.
  • Continue on Route 10 and pass through the Town of Hamden, which only consists of a couple of antique shops and a bank. You will be on this road for approximately 10.4 miles and then you will see a little green sign on your right that says DELANCEY with an arrow to the right. TAKE THAT RIGHT. If you miss that turn and end up in the town of Delhi, you have gone too far.
  • After you make the right for Delancey, you will go through Delancey (a town with a church and some homes), and then TAKE THE LEFT over the bridge. You are now on Cabin Hill Road.
  • You will be on Cabin Hill Road for approximately 7.4 miles and then you will come to the top of a hill. On your left will be the “white church” and on your right will be Fall Clove Road with a sign for “Camp Nubar”.
  • Make a right on Fall Clove Road and continue for approximately 1 mile or so and you will see a sign for Camp Nubar on your right and the road to camp.

Total travel time with a 15-20 minute stop is normally 4 hours from the Lansdale exit of the Northeast Extension
